Can anyone tell me why this might be happening? When I first start my truck (49 Chevy), It blows out what looks like oily water. It has a 235 six cylinder engine, pretty stock. I have to choke it when I first start it, but it doesn't have to stay choked long. It does have to warm up, though, before it will run smoothly. It smokes slightly when first started, but then clears up and doesn't smoke once it's warmed up. It doesn't seem to be using any oil. I can't tell that I'm losing any between oil changes. It sure makes a mess on the floor and I would like to fix it if it's something that can be fixed without an engine rebuild.
