#13592 09/21/2002 9:53 AM | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | Good suggestions Fred has made.This can be done on these type of rear ends.It cannot be done this way with the DANA or GM Corporate rear ends as they have a crush sleeve that has to be set to a specific position and pinion depth. These older rear ends have a LARGE double bearing set-up that is about a big as one in a log truck  
There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us.
