Hi All, I thought I would put up some pictures so those that are interested can see how things are going. I bought 84 F250 rotors and 85 C20 Chevy calipers.
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/Sawmill/108-0829_IMG.jpg I turned the spindle to fit the inner bearing.
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/Sawmill/108-0822_IMG.jpg Machined the spacer, it needed to be rounded on the inside to fix the spindle fillet. The fillet is needed to prevent stress risers.
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/Sawmill/108-0838_IMG.jpg The diameter of the spacer needs to fit the rotor grease seal.
I am now working on the mounting bracket. This is made harder because the 4 spindle bolt holes are not on the same plain. I hope to use a flat plate but I will know more in a couple of days.
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/Sawmill/108-0836_IMG.jpg I am also going to have to make a spacer to go behind the castle nut in order to space it out so it will work with the cotter pin holes
http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/Sawmill/108-0832_IMG.jpg I think I am at the point where I can say I think this will all work out in the long run. I get time to work on it here and there. I will say this, there is more work in putting all this together than I thought! Rick In VA
