Thanks for the feedback. It is interesting to muse a bit about the design and functionality of these old trucks. Generally speaking, the hardware and components have withstood the test of time in an impressive fashion over the last 70 plus years. I only hope I can function that well at that milestone! There's certainly a lot satisfaction derived from keeping 'em on the road. I don't recall what Stovebolter used to say this, but the old adage of 'Do no harm' seems appropriate as well...........
