Can any of you bolters tell me what would be the widest, (and offset), rear wheels I can put on my '50 3100? Here's the parameters...I've installed an '81 Camaro 10 bolt. The interweb states that it's and inch wider than the original closed drive shaft...so doing public school math it's a half inch wider on each side. I don't want to cut the bed sides and tub the box. FYI, I have moved the shocks inboard which really doesn't come into play for what I'm wanting to do. I think at this time I want to use the same width on the front, just smaller diameter wheel, (20's rear, 18's front).
Is there a way to measure for clearance, offset, other than using a gauge?
