Shaffer's1950 'Bolter S Joined: Aug 2017 Posts: 660 Big Springs CA	LeeD, My original 216 motor had what you described in the oil pan. Sludge and what I figured was dirt silvery muck...years & years of dust...and dirt. Ditto on Truckernix... It was easy on an engine stand. -T 1950 Chevy 3100
