Radio noise suppression ignition "wires" can have up to 1,000 Ohms per inch of resistance, measured with a digital ohmmeter, and they will carry spark just fine. Metallic spark plug wires are as obsolete as Acetyline gas headlights, hand cranks for engine starting, and squeeze bulb horns.
