I have a 1953 GMC that I plan on swapping a 235 into along with a T5 transmission at some point. Right now, I'd like to assemble some parts so I can begin a conversion from the 12v spaghetti under the hood into a cleaner and more organized new harness. What I'm looking for is one that allows me to run the 235 and is in 12v. Right now, the 228 motor is in 12 volt so it shouldn't take much to redo the wiring. Which harness would be the best to go with to maintain original look (I really like the cloth loom look), but I know I'll likely need some voltage reducers and whatnot. I haven't explored the current wiring system too much as it is a mixture of new wiring and old cloth loom, and it runs, so I didn't want to start pulling it apart right after I got it. Its literally the first running project I've had since I sold a WWII Jeep in 2011. I'm picking up the 235 this coming weekend and will take stock of what I have when I get it back home.

If anyone has a recommendation for a wiring harness that meets my criteria (12v, 235 capable, cloth loom if possible), I'd appreciate it!
