I worked in a fabricating shop about 18 years ago and have been to school for mig, tig, and heliarc. It has been a long time since I have welded anything but I should be able to do it. I just want to make sure the welder I am using is hot enough. the welder has a 30 to 175 amp output and runs on 220. It will weld up to 1/2 mild steel with .045 innershield. I will pay someone to do it for me if I start having problems.
