Tommy just as a point of reference, I have an Old Air AC in my 59, using a belt driven 6 blade flex fan with shroud, and have no overheating problems driving many miles in 100+ degrees Oklahoma days. My ordinary 3-wire alternator works fine to keep up with everything, I think it is less than 60 amp output. Your alternator should be fine if you have a good engine driven fan system.
