The difference between the short tail housing
trans and the long tail housing trans is 6 inches.Actually there are 3 different tail housing lengths for the 350,they are 6 in., 9 in.
and 12 in. These measurements are the distance
from the case to the end of the housing. Over all case length 21 5/8 in. The tranny mount is in the same location on all 3 housings.
