| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | You will need to change the switch that the foot start engages on top of the starter that has a small side terminal to apply 12v direct to the coil when in the start position only, rest of time coil is fed through ballast resistor. Stock GM part, someone here will probably have PN.
