ok my original carb is a 228 off a 228 number 11147. i longgated the holes to fit manifold.im going to give it a try. but if i read right i can buy same carter with a 3 inch spread bebween hold down bolts.ill see how it runs before a buy new carb . its 600 us thats 800 for me lol. ill hook gas line with rubber fuel lines to carb beofore i go through trouble of remaking both fuel line a nd vacuum.it was good enough for 228 cu in so do you all think it can handle 235 cu in.
