| | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 1,704 back yard wrench turner | | back yard wrench turner Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 1,704 | I added front shocks to my '38 1 ton. It made the front axle settle down. It used to jump a lot going over any bump and rut in the road.
I bought shocks for a '53 Chevy truck from Rock Auto. I had to fabricate a top mount and drill the frame.
