I have a 1960 c10. It is a torsion bar suspension. I just replaced it with a 1973 to 87 front suspension. I unbolted the engine cradle, torsion bars and a-arms. The "new" engine cradle with the 73-87 all in one piece. It bolted right up. There are a couple of holes that needed to be drilled because they are in a different location on the newer front end. It was easier than I thought. Now I have coil springs and disk brakes.
EDIT: The C30 frame is the same, so you could do this mod to your frame.
