I was perusing the local classifieds and came across some AD parts. The posting had only been up for a couple hours or so.The fellow had a nice original grille and core support and I immediately told him I’d take it. I called him the next day and he stated that he got quite a few replies and emails offering more for it, but he was true to his word and held it for me. I picked it up last night. It is in really good shape. He wasn’t home but his wife helped me with the transaction.
I gave his wife an additional $20 for him for holding it for me. Of course, I also pointed him in the direction of his site!

Here’s what I got ...for $80. Happy day! ($100 after the extra $20) It is very satright, solid and only has a couple minor dings on bar 4, which I should be able to work out. If not, I might have another good #4 on one of the parts grille at the farm. Either way, I’m happy.
