Just get a factory or after market manual and look at it. 56 came from the factory with power steering with the pump on the rear of the generator. The steering itself was with a ram assist on the tie rod. For an updated version there are p/s units that mount the same as the manual steering box. I prefer the 500 box over the 605 as it gives an easier column hook up. For a non-generator p/s pump mounting there are kits offered or you can make your own using the left front motor mount engine bracket and rear bracing to water pump or exhaust manifold: picture of a 55 265
