The master to slave cylinder is just a straight column of fluid with no residual pressure valve incorporated into the flare fitting seat like the brake side. When the pedal goes down so does the fluid and when the pedal comes back up so does the fluid. This makes the pump up and bleed method impossible. We have had our best luck reverse bleeding; pushing pressurized fluid into the bleeder valve till master cylinder overflows. Another method (gravity bleed) is to top off mc and barely crack open the bleeder valve and let set overnight. If there is several drops of fluid on the floor in the morning shut bleeder and you should have a working clutch. I could use a 60-62 bell housing with the passenger side clutch release arm so if you have an extra let me know.
