Get a 1960 manual and install per that. It is not real technical. Adjust per manual, including pedal travel, plumbing, return spring, push rod adjustment. You will find the problem.
You say you are not getting any brake fluid to the slave. Check reservoir fill. Check under dash push rod and slave push rod adjustment per manual. I assume you bled the slave?...and see no fluid?
