I finally got my blue dot taillights from Dixie Truck Depot...they took about 2 weeks to get here...but they're here and it only took me about 5 minutes to install the lenses and the new bezels. Fixin all the little electrical problems, however, took about 8 hours. I had problems with the dimmer switch, ground issues, a loose cable connection, a bad lamp...you name it, I had it. When I started, the only thing that worked was the front turn signals. Now they all work...except for the license light...and that's cuz it ain't there at all. I spose I'll have to do something about that when I put the plate bracket on.

I also spent about a week huntin for the Purple Hornie mufflers. Damned if I know where they are. So I broke down and bought a pair of 30 inch Cherry Bomb glasspacks for it. I installed those today and it's much quieter now...almost too quiet...but not quite.

I also took a coupla hours and updated the web pages. There's a buncha pics and verbiage about the motor bolt-ons and...well, about everything that's gone on in the last month. The updated stuff starts
here There are also links to a coupla wav files, one of the open hedders and one with the glasspacks on. They were both made with the laptop sittin on the front seat and with the same input level. So you can tell that there's quite a difference. I might only get busted for the blue dots and the Brodie knob now.
