The 292 has over 1/2" longer stroke than a 350 so it will be able to lug down and pull better over a wider RPM range than the 350 without downshifting. If the 350 isn't pulling well, your engine builder is probably to blame. Go look in the mirror and fuss at yourself! Jerry
