I realize that this is an old post, but I've been looking into a bone yard upgrade on my '63 similar to what's being discussed in this thread. From comments in this post it looks like the best donor is a 73 - 79 truck. Anyone have any other thoughts? Also, does anyone know if 73 - 79 (5 bolt) axles will swap into a 63 12 bolt rear end?
