I've recently picked up a '57 Apache, and I'm getting ready to replace the transmission fluid, and wanted confirmation I was looking at the right spot for the refill.
Can anyone please confirm in the attachment the red arrow is pointing to the fill plug hole, and SAE 90 is the right fluid? Looks like 6.75 pts?
If I'm right and that is the spot - seems tedious to get that filled up, any best practices to ensure I don't end up with transmission fluid all over my garage instead of in the truck would be appreciated.
