It is 2 3/4" wide and 3/8" thick. It is not square cut but doesn't appear like it was router'd on the edges just the sharp edges knocked off with maybe a sander.
Hope this helps. This is on the 52 panel........and the wood is Oak. I think originally it was painted a gray color but no documentation for that. | | |
