I'm getting ready to put a GM rear open rear axle with camaro leaf springs under the rear of my 50 1/2 ton. How much should I move the axle to get the tire centered in the wheel well? It looks like about 3/4" back, but I have measured 3 or4 wheel bases on modified trucks that all look centered and lowered and have measured 116.5,117.5,119.5(prostreet)& 114. Stock is 116, what gives? If they all start out at 116 how can all look centered? The front should be all in same location. Sould I just set it close and wait until I get the bed back on? Think the factory set up varied in the wheel well that much? Thanks,
