Have to allow for seasonal temperatures, no paint in winter, weld anytime, etc. Tools and storage are inside. A concrete slab would be helpful, rolling tools on gravel is not the easiest. A long 220v extension cord and air hose are helpful. Make room around saw, mill, lathe for long or large pieces that need to be cut down.
