Maybe this page, etc. from the 48-51 Truck Shop Manual will help. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/shop/1948_51truck/51ctsm0502.htmThe original springs and pins pictured don't look like the ones you have. I redid the Hucks on my 50 3600 years ago, and I don't remember exactly what the springs look like.
