ok they are solid because theyre one piece with a "plunger" head on the top and a flat bottom and a solid body.. so i did the adjustment right the first time... and either way it still sucked back, so the guy who did the head resurfacing didnt do a valve seat right. thats just great. well thanks everyone for the help.
