I have two turbo charged 4.3's, one is making about 330 hp/400 ftlb and the other is making over 400 hp. I also have a naturally asperated one in a '92 4dr Jimmy right now with 166,000 miles on it. They are great motors and cheap to rebuild. A 4.3 is basicly a 350 V8 with the front two cylinders missing. The pistons, rings, bearings, etc. are all the same as a 350. If you pull the heads i would find some L35 heads in a junk yard. They flow better stock than yours would ported and polished.
