My Parking Brake Release Rod is missing the spring identified in the parts manual as 4.597 which is very confusing because they use the same part number 4.597 for the spring which is on bar 4.603. These cannot be the same spring? I am referring to the link provided by TexChev
I have found the 4.597 spring online to purchase but it looks like the one that I have on the bar 4.603 and I have not found one that looks like the right one to go on the release rod? My brake holds sometimes but not always I assume this spring would fix that. I may just go to my local ACE Hardware and try out several different springs that fit over the release rod?
