Reply to 52 Carl, the release rod does allow the lock bar to fully move to the locked position.
Reply to TCLederman -After looking more closely at the hole through the lock bar that locks against the pedal rod appears that probably is the problem. Any suggestions on how to modify or rework that hole so it will engage and hold the pedal rod? Should I make the hole more oblong or elongated?
