Hi,
The throttle linkage on my 1935 QB is all rods and springs, no cable. The the rod with the accelerator button on top passes through the floorboard, with no wear protection where it goes through the board. The hole in the board is now oval, and getting larger fast. I can no longer get full throttle because of the rod bending. It seems like GM would have placed some kind of pipe or at least a rectangle of metal there with a semi circle on it to provide a surface for the rod to bear on. Can anyone tell me what would have been there originally?
