Hey, thanks for the info! Wow, I didn't think GM would have that poor a setup, even in 1935. I'm thinking a soft metal plate (brass maybe), rectangular with a half moon cutout on the top as a bearing surface. I'll think on it some more. Maybe two plates top and bottom to center it?
