My King Pin is frozen in place and so are all the bolts that hold the brake backing plate to the yoke and I cannot even get the steering linkage connecting arm off the bolts that connect it to the yoke/spindle. How much heat can be applied to the parts to help ease removal? I have a rosebud oxy acetylene tip so I can get it red hot. I ask because of the advisory not to heat steering linkage parts excessively. Truck is a 49 chevy 3100
The steering connector and and spindle/yoke will all need to be heated to get the bolts out of them. Then there is the kingpin.
