| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | We have switched to the LS series engines for almost all our swaps anymore but since my eyes have kept me out of the shop I can turn the laptop up to 150% and read up on engines. For ones wanting to simplify the swap by going to a carb it will gain you about 100hp but lose you around 30% in fuel mileage. Figures seem to be 435hp/25mpg for the Camaro-Corvette computerized and injected LS vs 550hp/17mpg for a carbed one. Leaves a decision to make.
