John...my truck is currently in Virginia going through its 500 mile shake down and its been mighty hot/humid the past week or so. The AC system has worked very well and has cooled the front half of the truck. It's still pretty warm back in the 3rd seat.(We probably could have done a better insulation job in the back portion of the Burb). We've had engine cooling problems with the new GM crate 360/330hp. We've added a 2nd electric pusher fan for the AC condenser and that has seemed to cure the problem (knock wood!).
By the way, I just bought a '48 Suburban for my next project.
