| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,274 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,274 | Are you using the original torque tube rear end? If so, you definitely need the crossmember and the mount assembly. That mount assembly supports the transmission torque ball assembly.
The torque tube is heavy and the leaf springs put a lot of additional downward force at the torque ball area.
