Thanks for the info, the engine is running incredibly rich all the time so I'll definitely check that vacuum passage next. I'll also file that side that's flanged out a bit to make sure it won't get hung up. I also looked up the float level and adjusted the float to 1 9/32" It was a bit higher before the adjustment so maybe that will help too.
