the warranty on the gm crate motor is 3yr or 50k
miles parts & labor. i have put a few crate motors
in 47/55.1 trucks worked out good. my truck has a crate motor, been in there 10 yrs & 93k miles
no problems
you can also get a turbo 400 from gm with the same warranty
