sure hope you read this. i sorry but if it's 1 ton truck, my own opinion a nova front suspension will be WAYYYY TOOO LIGHT for the wieght of the truck, BUT hey it's your truck.

the front weight on ur truck has about 2200 lbs on it while the nova has about 17-1800 lbs on the front suspenion. so figger that w/the extra weight it like adding a extra 350 motor to the front suspension.
once again for saftey reason i wouldnt do it, it'd be like putting a nova front suspension under my 84 suburban, do ya think it would hold up let alone be safe...joe

and if you do use a M2 or nova front suspension let me know cause i want to be sure to stay as FARRRRRRR AWAY from you while ur driving it on the road eek eek eek eek [/b]
the nova i have has a 350/th350 in it already. according to the link posted, the curb weight should be just under 3700 lbs. for the nova.

i have a TF truck, and i don't see how it could be that much heavier than a 1/2-ton, especially if i am losing some heavyweight stuff like the front and rear axles. i don't plan to try and keep the 1-ton payload
