Some of the resto-ripoff places sell modified pumps for outrageous prices to people who can't do the press job themselves.
Once you get the fan and pulley pushed back to clear the radiator, you'll find that the fan will try to hit the harmonic balancer and it will be located too low to cool the engine properly. The fix is to purchase a pump relocation plate that allows the 54 and earlier water pump to be used on the post-55 block. That will put the fan in the proper location to cool properly, and fit far enough back to stay out of the radiator. Jerry
