Dankjt -- You might want to ask (in the engines forum smile ) if there is anything significantly different about the 235 blocks cast for the Powerglide tranny. I can't remember, but there might be. Otherwise, I wonder why they would bother to differentiate between Powerglide and non powerglide engines ohwell

Could be an interesting bit of knowledge for all of us, as well as useful info about your own engine. I don't claim to know much, but what I have learned is that the info contained in the casting numbers, etc is significant and put there for a reason.
