That looks really nice...especially the center part you've made. This was very similar to my first thought but not using a VDO gauge. I was using a SpeedHut 0 to 80 speedometer which will fit and look ok but it has the liquid crystal odometer and it is about 1.25" x 2 inches as I recall. The key there was to make a new dial face with a rectangular cutout for the lcd display. What I'm trying now is the speedometer and odometer portion of a GM gauge cluster...95 s10 without tach. The odometer sits below the needle and the trip odometer sits above it. The odometer and trip odometer are the analog type.
