I was wondering the same thing. The etch primer and epoxy primer I used were both 2K products...you mixed a catalyst with the primer and the finished product was bullet proof and impervious to the elements. I don't think this could be accomplished with a single aerosol spray can. Their "epoxy" isn't the 2K epoxy we usually think of, so it probably isn't any more durable than a typical aerosol paint.
I would think the proper procedure would be to repaint any bare spots with a true, 2K primer of some sort.
