I added this tip to my harbor freight pressure blaster and it works like a champ now. I never try to reuse my sand. I have also found play sand to be way too fine except for very light surface rust. Instead, I use #4 blasting sand. It's more expensive but also more effective. I blast at 75 psi and have a differential pressure system rigged so as to prevent clogging (one pressure regulator for the tank pressure and one for the gun. This allows a small amount of back pressure to prevent clogging when the unit is shut off.
