I am trying to back up a faint memory of a GM accessory that was produced to address the safety concern of a single tail light on the clamshell suburbans. It was a large glass reflector that was the size of the tail light and was mounted on the license plate.
Am I remembering this correctly or am I just suffering from an overactive imagination?
