Position of caliper is immaterial; factory vehicles have the calipers mounted both ways. If you hold the box up in place you will see there is a bolt(s) that have no backing to screw into, this is where the triangle shaped piece(s ) go. We don't use pre-made kits but here is a pic of an extra bolt mounting sleeve (instead of triangle). Having the box in this lower position with the bolt mount in the frame rather than above it helps with keeping the tie rod or drag link horizontal which helps with any bump steer problem. Have seen ones where the Pitman arm was bent to achieve levelness but this changes the geometry and will always take a special part, something we try to avoid.
