Guys,
Sorry for disappearing. Life happens. I did the oil in the cylinders for a few days then I drove it hard for a few days, then a few hundred miles over the next few months. The smoking and oil consumption has not gotten worse or better. In the meantime I obtained all the rest of the parts (including two other 235's) from the previous owner. I have decided to open another discussion thread, and get another engine running while I continue to drive it. I'll return to this thread when I pull the engine that's in it and tear it down.
