Even that is a help, now I know I must take the drastic raod.
First I'll try eliminating the spring, I could live with a hood prop.
Next I'll try setting the hood in place & custom sizing the hinges.
It'll be a tight squeeze with me & the engine in there with the hood down
I'll keep you posted.
