Glad you're staying on topic Carl, you know how we old timers minds tend to drift.
Well...one of me Stovebolt buddies stopped by yesterday afternoon and suggested
I pour a shot of Kickapoo Joy Juice down the cylinder before I tore it apart and see
if that loosened things up. That I did, a little Marvel Mystery Oil and pulled it thru a
few times and she loosened up right away. Fired it up and ran it for about 15 minuets.
Glad I tried that, seems to run just fine now. Normally having an engine seize up like
that that would bother me but again, this was only a $10 special. I suppose if I pulled
the piston I'd find some nice score marks on the skirt. But this little old B&S will probably
still be running long after I'm gone.
So.....end of story, thanks Bruce, took your advice and it paid off this time and I've now
got another tool to find a spot for in this over crowded shop of mine.
